This first aid at work requalification course meets the requirement of the Health & Safety law that employers provide a safe and healthy environment to work in. If your assessment of first aid needs highlights the need to maintain the qualification of your First Aiders, then this course will meet your needs. This comprehensive two-day course covers a wide range of first aid emergencies, enabling all participants to deal with emergency situations with confidence in a prompt, safe and effective way. In addition, this course will include any protocol changes that may have arisen since their last training course. This course will give the participants a qualification to the highest level of First Aid, meeting the statutory requirements of the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981.

Duration

A minimum of 12 hours spread over at least two days.

Certification

Summative practical assessment is on-going by the instructor each day, along with a question paper on Day 1 and 2. A three year Level 6 Award in First Aid at Work will be issued to the learner, subject to successful assessment.

PLEASE NOTE

Candidates wishing to enrol onto this course must submit there previous First Aid at Work certificate to allow Effective Solutions to confirm it’s eligibility and authenticity in order to meet HSE/Awarding Body requirements.

Candidates must be physically able to carry out procedures required to meet assessment criteria.

This course is offered to the general public which is subject to sufficient required numbers and a decision will be taken 7 days prior to the course start date.
